You Love Lavender: What Your Element May Be

Cross a lavender field in the last light of a summer day and the air seems to hold its breath. Warm stone underfoot, the low hum settling, and above it that clean, cool-blue note lifting off the rows: herbaceous, a little green, unmistakably composed. Crush a sprig between your fingers and the same coolness rises again, quiet where the day was loud. Some people walk past it. Others stop, and keep the memory for years. Which one you are can tell you something.

The Ones Who Reach for the Blue Note

Lavender tends to find a particular kind of skin, and a particular kind of person. Often it is those whose complexion runs warm and quick to answer: a colour that rises at the forehead, a flush that arrives before the feeling does, a surface that reacts to weather, to wine, to a room that turns tense. This is the signature of a Fire nature. But Read Your Own Face First

So notice where your skin speaks, and how. The forehead that colours and warms is one language. The temples that shine are another. The cheeks that hold shadow are a third, and each is a different element leading a different life beneath the same word for beautiful.

A love of lavender rarely arrives by accident. More often it is Fire, quietly, asking to be cooled and understood, the warm nature reaching for its cool companion long before you had a name for either.
